5 out of 5 stars Great for those with lactose intolerance   December 1, 2008

I have lactose intolerance and find myself getting uncomfortable with alot of Whey protein powders I've tried before. Not with this one.

It also easily dissolves in cold water, which I like. I don't even use a mixer, most of the time I bring a coffee sipper and swish it around there. I love the taste of chocolate mint with cold water, it's very refreshing after a workout.

5 out of 5 stars Great protein, poor flavor choice   March 12, 2010

ON Whey has always been my top choice after many years of switching around. It's simply the best out there. I base this assertion on its superior taste, protein content, and mixability.

I would, however, caution you against getting some of their more creative or original flavors. Stick to something generic like chocolate or vanilla, because you never know when you want to mix something in with it like fruit, oats, whatever. With chocolate mint, it's not a really good base for a meal replacement shake.

Still no complaints against the protein though.

5 out of 5 stars Great Tasting Protein!   February 11, 2010

I chose the Mint Chocolate Flavor and it was fantastic. I was a little nervous it may taste a little like toothpaste. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it tastes more in line with a chocolate milk shake with a hint of very pleasant mint. When mixed with Rice or Almond milk it's fantastic. I drink a shake in the middle of the night to preserve a protein levels and use plain water and a shaker cup (because who feels like getting out of bed at 2a.m.) and the product taste very similar to YOO-HOO with the water base. Buy it- it's great stuff!

5 out of 5 stars A Tasty drink.   February 21, 2010

With so many products on the market to choose from, its trial and error to find a quality product protein powder that actually tastes good. I found this and it does taste fantastic!!. Chocolate Mint mixed with some cold 2% milk...mmm...mmm...good. It tastes just like an ice cream milkshake, but healthy.

5 out of 5 stars One of the best tasting protein drinks out there (Choc/Mint)   July 23, 2010
G. Murphy (Rhode Island)
As for performance I really like Gold Standard Whey, for protein drinks Whey is the Way to go, no pun. Any way whats most important for me is the taste. As far as trying to squeeze out a protein gram here and a fat gram there I dont waste too much time, because all in all there is no replacing food for the optimum protein source. As for taste Choc/Mint taste is by far one of the best out there. I mix it with Skim milk or 1% and I love it, I actually look forward to the drink after a work out, instead of others Ive tried where I have to just hold my nose and gulp...this drink I can actually enjoy. Im not sure how picky people are, I mean its not going to taste like a blizzard from fricken Dairy queen, it is a protein drink after all, but the taste really is a great chocalate (with a hint of mint) drink. Much recommended!
